This free tool provides name ideas for your own characters and stories. You can copy and adapt the generated ideas. That does not establish exclusive ownership of a word or clear any third-party rights.
Check a name before using it for a public account, product or commercial project. Results can overlap with existing names. We do not guarantee uniqueness, trademark availability, official lore accuracy or acceptance by a game or platform.
An independent service
Independent fan-use tool. Not affiliated with Larian Studios or Wizards of the Coast. Baldur’s Gate and related marks belong to their owners.
The site does not provide official game assets, accounts, items or access to a game. Brand names identify the kind of personal creative task the tool can help with. Original illustrations and writing are not publisher endorsements.
Availability and your shortlist
The service may change or be unavailable. Keep your own copy of names you want to retain. Local browser storage is not a backup service. Do not use the service to impersonate people or to infringe another person’s rights.
